Ronix Kinetik Project Wakeboard: Soft Flex Meets Locked-In Control

This Wakeboard is Best For:

  • Advanced Park Riders Seeking Maximum Control: The soft flex tip and tail with a standard flex mid-section provide a locked-in feel on presses, allowing for precision and stability during technical maneuvers.
  • Riders Who Love Exaggerated Presses: Designed for nose and tail presses, the softest flex in the tip/tail lets you fully leverage each press, while the stiff mid-section prevents over-folding and enhances snap back.
  • Speed Enthusiasts: With its continuous rocker and minimal drag, the Kinetik Project delivers top water speed and consistent contact with the water for a fast, smooth ride.
  • Cable Park Explorers: Ideal for riders looking to master their skills at the cable park, this board’s deep G&R channels offer superior traction, helping you stay locked in on every line.

The Ronix Kinetik Project Wakeboard is built for advanced park riders who want a fast, controlled, and responsive ride. With a flexible tip and tail and a more rigid center, this board is perfect for technical presses, giving you the snap back needed to ride with confidence. The vertical wood core provides a unique blend of durability and control, while the continuous rocker ensures top water speed with minimal drag. Whether you’re hitting the cable park or exploring new spots, this board offers a perfect combination of traction, speed, and locked-in control.

Ronix Wakeboards

Let's take a look at the key components that make up a Ronix wakeboard and explore the innovative features that set them apart.

Materials

PRE-TENSION FIBERGLASS

New for 2025, Ronix developed a process that gives a Blackout wakeboard a takeoff packed with extra energy, but maintains the smooth landings of a forgiving fiberglass. We created a machine that pulls the fiberglass tight when it goes into the mold- these loaded fibers make for a stiffer snap without sacrificing water feel.

M6 Inserts

The Euros have it figured out. A higher thread count means more hold on a shallower depth. So now we can go to thinner profiled boards without a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lock down. The result is boards with more feel and contact on the water. Available on every series.

LOW FRICTION BASE

Developed to get you there quicker. A bottom sheet that's not a drag.

MAGIC CARPET

We are always sourcing new fiberglass materials trying to find that perfect weave allowing just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to our Magic Carpet.

Performance foundations

Energy

Instant

Instant energy takes place the second the tip of the board hits the wake. This allows a quicker way to generate lift off the transition as energy takes place sooner with a super firm snap off the wake. For riders that can handle the added kick.

Neutral

Doesn't have the radioactive amplitude of instant energy or the postponed kick of its stored couterpart. Neutral energy prefers to sit quietly in the middle of takeoff purgatory- not too quick, not too late. Nothing wrong with riding sans stigma.

Stored

Created for a rider who approaches and leaves the wake at a slower speed and in need of a more controlled lift. There is a store and release effect in the energy of this construction which gives a rider extra time to generate the full lift from the power building from the tip all the way to the tail of the board. A construction that's easier on your body.

Cores

Blackout Technology

What do you get when cutting-edge innovations meet strict confidentiality? Blackout Technology – it’s designed to reduce swing weight, increase amplitude, and deliver unmatched feedback. Unfortunately, we’re sworn to secrecy when it comes to the exact formula behind it.

Legacy Core

A fresh take on a classic favorite. This board combines the best features of our popular Modello series with enhanced dampening qualities. The result? A smooth, quiet ride even on the loudest, roughest days. Ideal for riders of all levels who want a high-performance shape with a forgiving, easy-to-ride construction.

Air Core 3

A lightweight, responsive foam core imported from Italy.

Modello Core

An ultra-stiff, lightweight, and incredibly responsive core—crafted from our exclusive blend of materials. It boasts the highest strength-to-weight ratio we’ve ever tested, setting the bar for the most refined poured foam formula available.

Paulownia Wood

Wood is an excellent choice for park riders seeking durability. Sourced from renewable trees, this cable-friendly paulownia timber offers a snowboard-inspired pop off the wake and delivers a distinctive ollie and press on rails.
