The outer and inner surfaces employ smooth skin to allow water to bead off the surface with minimal water absorption. The inner material creates skin friction, so the vest stays in place and doesn’t ride up after deepwater starts. Without concern for readjusting, skiers can devote all their focus to the quickly approaching pass.
